Paparazzi turn the lens on soapie storylines

Photos of a Home and Away wedding have been published months before airing.

Not good news for Home and Away today with high-quality photos of a soapie wedding published by Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail Australia (the latter even suggests new photos had been “newly-released”).

Staging key scenes on a Palm Beach exterior will always leave the show open to trigger-happy snappers.

TEN’s Bachelor has also been the target of  paparazzi recently -whether Reality or Drama storylines leaked months before airing it doesn’t go down well with networks. And sometimes even fans are unhappy, especially when an online page unveils unaired information before the reader has made a decision about whether to be spoiled.

Seven has sometimes been overly protective of its Summer Bay storylines, but on this occasion it may have left itself open for the sake of the backdrop.

  1. I do not watch….so I checked out the Daily Mail…what the?….
Don’t go there if you watch Home and Away…not a spoiler…the whole thing frame by frame…
    Geeze really weak of them….

  2. It is ridiculous how far in advance Home and Away shoots its episodes, up to 6 months in advance. Of course it is going to be hard to keep storylines under wraps and especially cast members comings and goings.
In the UK Eastenders and Coronation Street films approx 2 months in advance and finds it easier to keep storylines and cast changes under wraps if they chose to.
Though either way filming on location is always going to be tougher to keep things out of the wider media
