Renewed: Maigret

French detective Maigret, featuring Rowan Atkinson, is to feature in two more telemovies from ITV.

BBC First screened the first telemovie “Maigret Sets a Trap” earlier this month with “Maigret’s Dead Man” still to come.

Now writer Stewart Harcourt (Love & Marriage) will adapt Paris-set “Night At the Crossroads” from Georges Simenon’s novel, followed by “Maigret in Montmartre” which is also set in 1950s French capital.

Both will go into production in November.
