I love the whole “speak directly to the people” hyperbole, well hate to break it to you Sam but that’s what he’s been doing. And with a few days left of this election campaign people won’t care who turns up to answer inane TV morning show questions.
It’s interesting that he hasn’t appeared on Sunrise given that both he and Shorten did multiple radio interviews this morning.
Lord knows I’ll be the last person defending the PM – however, he has appeared / been interviewed on #QandA; 7:30 and 4 Corners; the formal debates; and the televised National Press Club address + questions. David you noted this week the dip in ratings for 4 Corners when it featured both the PM and the Opposition Leader – does Sunrise want people switching off?
We hasn’t appeared in person on The Project either, noted in their interview with Bill Shorten last night. They only managed to get him on because of the Ramadan dinner a week or so ago.
