Seven has picked up hit UK drama The Durrells, based on Gerald Durrell’s books about his family life on the Greek island of Corfu in the 1930s.
The show, written by Simon Nye (Men Behaving Badly) stars Keeley Hawes as Louisa Durrell and Milo Parker as Gerry Durrell.
The family drama has received positive UK reviews since premiering in April. It is ITV’s best rating new drama of the year and its highest rating new show since September 2014.
Filming for second season will take place later this year in Corfu.
No broadcast dates announced as yet.

Ahhh, I was hoping it would be going to the ABC. Will watch it on Seven though.
