Did Secret City know something we didn’t?
Only last month “Attorney General” Jacki Weaver was on the war path with “Labor Defence Minister” Dan Wyllie to take action in the South China Sea because it was so important to Australian trade.
On Tuesday an international tribunal in The Hague came down overwhelmingly in favour of claims by the Philippines over China in the South China Sea. According to The Guardian Labor defence spokesman Stephen Conroy has said Australia should stop “pretending” to conduct freedom of navigation exercises and take more concrete action in the South China Sea. Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said China should abide by the final, binding ruling.

Fantastic series but no one i know saw it so i have been dissapointed .Should be on the ABC in HD ! Feel sorry for the actors , writers etc as their great Australian series was dumped on an obscure Pay tv channel .
Showcase is one of the highest profile STV channel around. Hasn’t hurt Game of Thrones. I don’t think the actors are feeling sorry. Well received and I’d expect a few award nominations. Speaking to Matt Le Nevez about Kettering (same channel) he was full of enthusiasm about what STV is producing, versus FTA.
