Ratings: With State of Origin and The Voice, Nine kept ahead of Seven last week.

With State of Origin and The Voice grand final, last week was always Nine’s to lose.

Seven put up a good fight, but couldn’t quite topple its key rival in network share.

Nine: State of Origin (Match: 2.06m), The Voice (Winner announced: 1.29m), Nine News (Sun: 1.25m) and A Current Affair (823,000).

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 1.23m), Sunday Night (963,000), Highway Patrol (823,000) and Home and Away (733,000).

TEN: MasterChef Australia (1.17m), NCIS (894,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (804,000) and Offspring (743,000).

ABC: ABC News (798,000), Four Corners (714,000), Media Watch (705,000) and Australian Story (693,000).

SBS: Great Continental Railway Journeys (362,000), Predict My Future: The Science of Us (281,000), Insight (264,000), Rome: Empire Without Limit (253,000).

Seven won Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Nine won Sunday and Wednesday. TEN won Tuesday.

Seven ranked first in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine scored Sydney and Brissy.

  1. With just 0.6% Primary Channels and 1.7% Network pushing Nine over the line in a week of SOF and The Voice Grand Final not a result Nine should be excited about, seeing the only nights they won were the two nights these programs were on.

  2. I think Seven will just steal this week after timeshift just going off how much Nine’s percentage dropped for the past two Origin weeks after timeshift was included which seemed inconceivable after Wednesday.
