Tomorrow night the AFL Footy Show hosts its first My Room Telethon to raise funds for the children’s cancer charity.

AFL stars, sporting and TV personalities will be volunteering in the Celebrity Phone Room, across the three hour event.

Appearing are personalities from The Block, Sunday Footy Show, Footy Classified, The Voice, Nine News, Postcards, Kids’ WB, Married at First Sight, Getaway, House Husbands and more.

Join Rebecca Maddern, James Brayshaw, Sam Newman, Billy Brownless, Shane Crawford and Dave Hughes for crazy stunts, massive guests and some very moving stories to be told, all with the ultimate goal of giving childhood cancer the boot.

More than 45 star AFL players will be answering calls and taking donations in the Celebrity Phone Room supported by Telstra, including Luke Hodge, Dane Swan, Tom Hawkins, Trent Cotchin, Alex Rance, Jimmy Bartel, Joel Selwood, Brendon Goddard, Jordan Lewis, Jack Watts, Adam Cooney, Nick Dal Santo, Dustin Martin, Isaac Smith and Nick Riewoldt.

Swimming sensation Mack Horton will be donating his time as well as Shane Warne, Melbourne Vixens’ Kate Moloney, Tegan Philip and Jo Weston, former Australian netball captain and world champion Sharelle McMahon and Women’s Football League players Daisy Pearce and Moana Hope.

A rotating panel will feature the biggest names in the game including Alex Rance, Brendon Goddard, Nick Riewoldt and Dane Swan in his first TV exclusive since announcing his retirement. Rebecca Maddern and Shane Crawford will visit some very special kids at the Monash Children’s Hospital, Crawf attempts an epic stunt, and Sam Newman puts the famous FARK (Fossil’s Academy of Reliable Kicking) to the test, all in the name of a great cause.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the telethon will go towards striving for better outcomes for children with cancer, funding clinical research projects and family care, as well as supporting the Monash Children’s Hospital’s Cancer Centre.

You can donate by heading to www.myroom.com.au or calling the donation line during the telethon – and together we can give childhood cancer the boot.

7:30pm Thursday on Nine (Melb, Ade, Per).
