Nine is teasing “an announcement” to be revealed during The Block tonight.
A teaser hints at a surgeon looking down upon a patient, or possibly a new baby, with music from Blondie’s Heart of Glass playing along.
It seems a little early to be promoting new drama Doctor Doctor (and is it really ‘announcement’ worthy?).
So I would tip one of these:
a) casting for a new dating series
b) Hamish & Andy related
c) Big Brother related

It definitely is Doctor Doctor, the EPG on my TV has The Block on 7:00 pm – 8:31pm with a sneak peek of Doctor Doctor on at 7:44 pm.
Have not even seen the ad…rarely on Nine…and only sometimes on GEM…or 9Life…
I will just check in here to find out what happens…. 🙂

Blondie’s Heart of Glass? They’re probably referring to Tara Brown so hopefully this will be an announcement that the people responsible for the very poor decisions regarding the Lebanon kidnapping have been sacked.
Well they do keep on advertising Love Island as ‘Sexy Big Brother’
I hope it is an announcement that they are selling the cricket rights to Fox Sports. I don’t know about anybody else but I’ve grown mighty sick of Nine throwing multiculturalism in sport out the window for four months each year and promoting the whiter than white Australian cricket team.
It mighr be Doctor Doctor, after all. An article in today’s Sunday Telegraph states that it will premiere on Wednesday Sept. 14th.
Sept 14 is confirmed for Doctor Doctor, Nine just sent me a release.
I don’t know why, but this just seems desperate.

RIP Big Brother let it stay in the past. It’s probably a version of Date Island LOL. Maybe it’s a sequel to Marriage at 1st Sight, Pregnant on 1st Night LOL.
That part where you said Pregnant on 1st Night made me chuckle. A good joke.
I can’t wait, will it be:
. All shows will run to their advertised schedule.
. No cross promotions in any of their shows.
. The Footy Show will have intelligent discussions about football related matter.
. You actually learn how to do renovations on The Block.
