Airdate: Black Mirror

Just one month to go until new installments of Charlie Brooker's anthology series on Netflix.

Black Mirror

We are now one month away from Netflix rolling out the third season of Charlie Brooker’s anthology series, Black Mirror.

Two were produced for Channel 4 in the UK but Netflix commissioned 12 new episodes across two seasons.

The first six will be available from Friday October 21 and Brooker has written 3.

Amongst the cast are James Norton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, Michael Kelly and Kelly Macdonald.

Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us. The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones.

    1. Yeah, really enjoyed the first 6 eps (can’t quite bring myself to call that two seasons). Hopefully the demands of producing another 12 eps don’t water down what has so far been incisive satire.
