These aired in the UK in April and May.

“Drinking to Oblivion”
Tuesday October 4 at 8.30pm
At a time when alcohol-related deaths are on the rise, Louis investigates the problem of alcoholism. Heading for Europe’s largest liver transplant centre, King’s College Hospital in London, he sees first-hand the critical physical side effects of alcoholism and learns about the challenges doctors, patients and patients’ families face in trying to treat it.

“A Different Brain”
Tuesday October 11 at 8.30pm
This powerful film follows the recovery of people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. With access to a specialist brain injury rehabilitation unit, Louis looks at the impact on individuals and their families. Focusing particularly on neurobehavioural and cognitive issues like speech problems, aggressiveness and lack of inhibition, the programme raises the question – how do you keep loving and supporting a person who has changed so drastically?
