The Socceroos continue their quest to qualify for their fourth consecutive FIFA World Cup tonight, when they host Iraq in the opening Round 3 clash.

FOX Sports will screen the game from 8:30pm Live and Exclusive, with a match against United Arab Emirates due on Wednesday 7th.

Ange Postecoglou’s men topped their group in the last round of qualifying, but will need to step it up a notch if they want to secure a top two Group B finish and keep their World Cup dreams alive.

FOX Sports’ Live and Exclusive coverage commences from 7.30pm EST tonight, when Mark Bosnich, Robbie Slater, John Aloisi and Adam Peacock combine for a 60-minute preview of the match ahead, before the on-field action kicks off at 8.30pm, with no ad-breaks during play.

  1. On the anti-siphoning laws page on Wikipedia, it states this:

“Each match in the Fédération Internationale de Football Association World Cup Qualification tournament involving the senior Australian representative team selected by the Football Federation Australia.”

How are Foxtel getting away with this?

    1. Seriously ,shame majority of the population won’t see it .FFA is the biggest loser here their national team is not getting the national exposure it desperately needs afterall it is the Socceroos which bring in the biggest sponsers to the code without FTA Coverage to bring in the big spending corporate sponsors they won’t come or commit to the socceroos brand .
