2015 SBS documentary Uranium: Twisting the Dragons Tail has been awarded ‘Le Prix des Lycéens’ (Students Prize) at the Pariscience International Science Film Festival in Paris.
Nominated by a jury of school children, members of the so-called ‘Fukushima generation’, the film provided an exciting and enlightening context for discussions around nuclear power.
Produced by Genepool Productions and written and directed by Wain Fimeri, the doco was awarded at the Banff Rockie Awards, the Remi Awards in Houston, the Jackson Hole Science Media Awards in Boston, Uranium Film Festival, in Rio De Janeiro/Berlin, ATOM Awards and nominated at the AACTA Awards.
