The Wrong Girl may need to carry extra Disclaimers that its characters aren’t based on anyone living.

This week in the season final we discover that Eric (Craig McLachlan) the fictional co-host of The Breakfast Bar is suddenly single.

“It’s very hard to combine a high-powered career with marriage,” he laments.

And with that he shows his wedding ring is removed from his hand.

But in brekkie TV even the crew has an opinion.

“It’s very hard to combine being an arsehole with marriage,” sniggers news producer (David Woods).
