Seven claims final ratings week

Ratings: Cricket lifted the end of Nine's week, but Seven walks away with the final glory.

Seven managed one last ratings title for the year, with Seven News the only title over the magic million. But X Factor‘s finale was an all-time low for Seven.

Nine’s Cricket coverage dominated at the end of the week, delivering it the final three nights of the ratings year, while GO! was strong (including beating ABC’s primary channel on Friday night).

SBS VICELAND saw a slight dip from former multichannel SBS 2 of 0.1%.

Nine won the demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Best brands for the week were:

Seven: Seven News (1.05m), Sunday Night (771,000), The X Factor (752,000) and Better Homes and Gardens (741,000).

Nine: Third Test (Aus v Sth Africa: S3: 901,000), Nine News (866,000), A Current Affair (759,000) and 60 Minutes (726,000).

TEN: Have You Been Paying Attention? (751,000), ARIA Awards (581,000), The Project (7pm: 562,000) and Modern Family (475,000).

ABC: Australian Story (772,000), Four Corners (719,000), ABC News (712,000) and Grand Designs (649,000).

SBS: Raising Pompeii (268,000), World’s Busiest Railway (254,000), Tutankhamun (225,000) and Secrets of the Colosseum (224,000).

Seven won Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Nine claimed Thursday, Friday and Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Monday and Saturday.

Nine was victorious in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Seven won Adelaide and Perth.

2017 Ratings begin on Sunday 12th February 2017.
