Disappointed some of my favourite dramas aren’t nominated. Love Child, Offspring, 800 Words. Only seem to have ones on Foxtel or ABC. I guess Survivor was too late in the year to be nominated. Hopefully next year. Really hope My Kitchen Rules doesn’t win.

That’s because these are awards for “Best”.
Since AACTA is now what use to be the AFI, I’m just wondering if there is a separate ceremony for films or doesn’t Australia make these any more?
Same ceremony. As per Golden Globes and other award ceremonies, TVT focus is on TV nominees.
I hope they don’t edit the awards too much like previous years (on both Seven and ten).
Let’s hope Seven do a better job than last year. I expect lots of their reality ‘stars’ and endless promos for Seven shows in 2017.
