The Bachelorette‘s first couple Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have confirmed an amicable split, 18 months after the TEN Reality series ended.
“After 18 months together, Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have come to a mutual decision to end their relationship,” a statement said.
“It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal. They have just come to the realisation that the best way forward, is to separate.
“They wholeheartedly respect and cherish the friendship they have for one another which will continue moving forward. They wish to thank everyone for their love and support over the past 18 months.”
The Bachelor brand has been largely successful in partnering its various singles with couples still together including Tim & Anna, Sam & Snezana, Richie & Alex, Georgia & Lee.
Radio presenter Sam Frost, infamously dumped by Blake Garvey, recently said on Instagram, “Christmas isn’t always sunshine and rainbows for everyone.. I’m sending nothing but good vibes, love, light & happiness. I promise 2017 is going to be YOUR year xxxx.”
In October she took to social media to blast New Idea reports the couple had split insisting “we are stronger than ever.”
Sasha Mielczarek yesterday confirmed he was “heartbroken” over the amicable split, noting distance had played a part.
