Kelly Rowland joins The Voice

Destiny's Child singer becomes the 4th and final coach for Nine talent series.

Nine yesterday announced the fourth and final coach for The Voice 2017: Kelly Rowland.

The Destiny’s Child singer joins the previously-announced Delta Goodrem, Seal and Boy George.

It means Joel and Benji Madden are not returning (a first for Joel Madden).

Rowland said, “I’ve been a fan of The Voice for years and I’m super excited to join the family, especially in Australia. It’s going to be an amazing experience and I can’t wait for this season to begin.”

She was previously a judge on Everybody Dance Now during it brief run on TEN in 2012.

Produced by ITV Australia, the show returns next year with host Sonia Kruger.

  1. I have to say Ronan Keating was a boring mistake this year. I saw Boy George on the UK version and he was one of the best reality show judges. Thank god they have gotten rid of the Madden Brothers. They needed to update the show. I think this line up is one fo the most interesting.

  2. Hmm not sure she was a good choice could’ve got someone more relevant in today’s music scene & they should’ve got Keith Urban back instead of Boy George not really happy with the panel this year Madden Bros were awesome!

    1. Haha. You very much just contradicted yourself, since The Madden Bros. haven’t been relevant (unless you count advertising fast food) for a good decade.

      1. ??Ha-ha @’DaveyBoy’ Madden Bros we’re bringing out music while on the show! Have you even been watching the show to comment..hmm don’t think so they were more relevant here in Australia than Kelly & still are- check our Australian top-charts history then make your opinion based on facts so no ha-ha I didn’t very much contradict myself! ?
