More Luke Cage is on the way at Netflix.

The Marvel action drama has been renewed for a second season.

The series starring Mike Colter in the title role is Marvel’s third drama for Netflix, joining Daredevil (renewed for its third season) and Jessica Jones (renewed for season two).

In 2017 Iron Fist will debut with the stars of all four shows subsequently set for The Defenders.

  1. @JamieL Are you serious? I was gripped and binged half the series the day it came on line. No mention of Jessica Jones in your review so I can assume you didn’t watch it. Luke was amply featured in that series and most MU fans would have seen it before LC. It is a triumph. The music! So many female characters! Rosario Dawson!! The only issue I had was with the Diamondback character. I am so happy it has been renewed.

    1. I agree , the show is kickarse .. being an arrow fan I could only watch 2 episodes of daredevil , the action / fighting scenes were just laughable , u can tell it’s more low budget

  2. Unlike Marvel’s Daredevil which made a good fist (excuse pun) in it’s first season Luke Page was slow to pick up pace and it’s format looked uninspired for most of the time, only the principal actors kept the interest going with Mike Miller and Simone Missick having sufficient sexual charisma to keep dogged audiences interested in their plight. No doubt when all these Netflix Marvel characters tie in together the development of these superheroes will be better understood.
