The reimagined Archies universe, Riverdale, will screen in Australia on Netflix later this month, same day as the US.
The dark drama, which includes a “tween peaks” murder mystery, has been wrapped in secrecy and stars NZ actor KJ Apa. His father is played by Luke Perry.
Archie’s got an edge. Veronica’s hiding her past. Riverdale is a little darker and a lot more interesting than it was in the days of Archie Comics.
Friday January 27 on Netflix.

looking forward to this.
If it’s soapy, artificial looking, too overdressed with lots of big hair and tons of makeup with a perfunctory musical interlude halfway through the season it should be a success in America, which in the world of TV entertainment is all that is necessary to order a second season.
I will check this out! Hopefully its good!
