A preview screening was held on Thursday in London for journalist and television critics.
Creator Steven Moffat has suggested another series “was possible” and he and fellow creator Mark Gatiss were not planning for the latest episode to be the final ever instalment.
“The Final Problem” will be available for Australian fans on Stan later today.

Well considering Sherlock is released on Stan, the real test of it’s popularity will be to discover how many fans took up the trial viewing period to try to view it. The ABC usually get to show it too on FTA but I’m not sure if this is the case this time or if so how many weeks will pass before it’s broadcast. No prizes for guessing where impatient Sherlock fans will be going though.
Usually a year before ABC can screen.
Maybe they need to get Sherlock on to the case!
