Axed: SA Life

South Australian lifestyle program axed by Seven after six years.

South Australian lifestyle program SA Life has been axed by Seven after six years.

General manager of SA Life magazine, Matt Smith, said changes to management and policy within Channel 7 led to the show’s demise.

“After six successful and ‘ratings winning’ years, SA Life and our production partner Channel 7 have decided to cease production of the SA Life TV program,” he said.

The Sunday show featured presenters including Michael Keelan, Kelly Golding, Briony Hume and former MasterChef cook Callum Hann.

A Seven spokesperson told News Corp production on a new local show for the timeslot had already begun.

“Seven is committed to continuing to produce quality local programming. We are increasing South Australian content on Seven in 2017,” they said.
