West Coast helps Seven win ratings week

Adelaide & Perth dominance helps Seven overtake Nine's East Coast win.

You wouldn’t read about it.

It’s possible to win Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and all three demos and still not win the week.

That’s the reality for Nine, which saw Seven take its fifth-straight week last week.

The reason? Seven is so far ahead in Adelaide and Perth that it more than makes up for the shortfall on the East Coast.

Meanwhile TEN slipped backwards after The Biggest Loser: Transformed had a dismal launch.

  1. Don’t know the stats David, but isn’t it the case that 9 usually wins the east coast and in Perth 7 dominates and always has. Would be more important to win the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane markets in regards advertising revenue you would think.

    1. Are you kidding?

Seven has dominated Melbourne for more than a decade now.

Even more so in Adelaide & especially Perth.

It’s done very well in Brisbane.

It’s closest in Sydney however (last near they nearly won).
