TV Tonight reaches another milestone...

This marks the 50,000th post published on TV Tonight!

That’s a lotta News, Programming, Reviews, Pay TV, Streaming, Ratings and more… RSI may soon be setting in!

It includes 10,000 posts alone since September 2015.

There are also over 422,000 Comments.

In January the site turned 10 Years old, creating a vast archive of detailed TV history online.

My thanks for your passion in all things TV and continued site loyalty.

Now onto 60,000!

What a great site – in an era where there is so much information available, yet sadly, what is available on Aust TV has deteriorated dramatically [both on TV and in our Green Guides and other publications – hello, TV Week…] this blog has become the Gold Standard for balanced, interesting and insightful reading on TV! Keep up the great work !!!

    1. Not just Australia – it’s one of the best sources for TV news from across the world.

      What I really appreciate though is how the site respects the reader – no intrusive resource heavy advertising, no annoying and often irrelevant autopsy videos and no tricking readers with clickbait.

  5. Congratulations again, David! I can only repeat what I have said before (and pretty much parrot what Dave and others have also said) – I really appreciate the quality of your posts, the info, the balance, the occasional exclusives, a good mix of programming notices, industry news, interviews with talent and network management, but without all the fatuous tawdry “celebrity” nonsense that passes for news in so many other publications.

    Frankly, with regard to the ever-increasing scheduling changes, you do the network’s job for them half the time since they are so poor at communicating with their dwindling audiences.

    50,000 posts over the 10.3 years you’ve been going is an average of 93 posts a week, including weekends, public holidays, hiatuses, and work you get paid for. 10k since Sep 2015 is around 120 a week! Very impressive.

  7. Not sure how many years I’ve been reading (seven? eight?) but I stumbled across TVT quite accidentally and have been hooked ever since. Congratulations, David. The passion burns just as strong at 50,000 as it did all those years ago.

  12. Congrats David. It’s always nice to come somewhere that I know there will be no fake news, no popup ads, no videos that play ads, just a good old fashioned read of interesting stories.
