Victorians dig deep for a record tally for the Royal Children's Hospital appeal.

Victorians dug deep yesterday as Seven’s Good Friday Appeal raised a record $17,605,622 for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

It pipped last year’s total which was $17,445,624.

Cast members and faces from Home And Away, The Chase Australia, The Secret Daughter, 800 Words, Sunrise, Sunday Night joined with industry performers and hundreds of volunteers to stage the event once again.

This year Seven paused the broadcast for 3 hours to screen a first Good Friday AFL match which included $5 from each ticket sold.

    1. Living in SA I didn’t watch the telethon, but I saw pictures of this performance and just from that alone I was laughing! Two of my favourite performers and Tina’s such a good sport.

  1. Don’t know why state based telethons aren’t carried in other states on their secondary channels. Love a good Telethon. They might even pick up a few extra bucks
