Happy Valley was grim and bleak but excellent. Lancashire was fantastic.
I so agree….not the sort of thing I would normally watch….but it was so well done and well acted…you could not…Although a few parts were viewed through the fingers on my hands….**G*
The list of soaps…are they shown in Australia?….I am guessing may be pay TV…It would be nice to see some of the older series run during the day..or even later at night.
UKTV has several.
Ta…. 🙂
The Must See Moment category had a lot of amazing choices, especially Line of Duty’s “Urgent Exit” Vicky McClure and Craig Parkinson deserve an award for that scene alone.
I couldn’t agree more about Line of Duty. Surprised it didn’t take out more awards – it certainly deserved to.
The Crown and Happy Valley are both high quality dramas but very well deserved for Happy Valley.
A truly outstanding program and Sarah Lancashire is exceptional in her role here.
A big congrats also to Joanna Lumley on her BAFTA Fellowship – a lovely, classy and extremely likeable lady.
