Returning: Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell

Fewer ads than The Project, earlier than Heads Up with Chris Kenny... Micallef & co. return next month.

Series 7 of Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell is back in a month’s time, taking up its Wednesday timeslot in place of The Weekly.

Promising “fewer ads than The Project; earlier than Heads Up with Chris Kenny; and a good twenty three and half hours shorter than the former ABC News 24″ the Mad as Hell cast returns with Shaun Micallef, Roz Hammond, Francis Greenslade, Emily Taheny, Stephen Hall and Tosh Greenslade.

Mad as Hell returns to face a world that’s madder and badder than ever before; a world poised on the brink of a nuclear winter; where Europe is falling apart; where a President and a Supreme Leader are largely interchangeable, a Liberal Treasurer can deliver a Labor budget as if its normal and our raw sewage is spied on by the government for metadata; a world where we’re all running out of power, housing, money, time, climate, journalism, nonrenewables, patience – and nothing makes sense anymore. Nothing that is, except Shaun Micallef’s weekly expert analysis of the Kafka-esque nightmare that our world has become.

Wednesday June 21 at 8.30pm.

  1. After watching Samantha Bee rip into the Trump family, Shaun’s subtlety? will be a refreshing change. Unfortunately our Malcolm is a small target, unlike “The Donald” who doesn’t wait around for his Executive Orders to be torn to shreds, he would be leading his troops up a North Korean beach if given half a chance.

    1. Normally these kinds of pics are after the last sketch has been filmed and before everyone wraps (given some are in costume) so I suspect your answer is in viewing the last episode of previous season.
