Today‘s entertainment guru Richard Wilkins has apologised to Hollywood’s Jeff Goldblum after accidentally killing him off 8 years ago in a phony NZ accident.
“I never thought I’d see the day when you walked through my front door,” Wilkins told him.
“Anybody could make that mistake. Any you rectified it quickly enough, and you were so sweet,” Goldbum replied.
“I think you rectified it before I did,” Wilkins conceded.
“I’m sorry about that.”
Goldblum, who has been here filming ads for an online delivery service, was a very good sport all things considered.
“Don’t believe everything you hear without a couple of sources. Call me first!” he added.

Hi Richard. You mentioned that if anyone is going to LA you would let them know where Jeff Goldblum plays his Jazz music. I’m going in June, could you let me know what Bar?
Richard works at Nine not here.
I saw one of Jeff’s delivery app adverts tonight on Ten and was in stitches. Such a top bloke.
