Sunrise returns to North Queensland

On Friday Sunrise will head back to North Queensland, to showcase the recovery after the destruction by Tropical Cyclone Debbie.

It will broadcast from Arlie Beach with Shannon Noll performing new single ‘Southern Sky,’ plus live crosses from Bowen and Hamilton Island.

“We think it’s really important to follow up on stories like this, not just forget about them when they leave the daily news cycle,” said Executive Producer, Michael Pell.

“North Queensland is open for business. That’s the important message we’ll be sending to our viewers.”

Sunrise is encouraging locals to come to Airlie Beach Esplanade from 5.30am
