The celebration will be hosted by Bruce McAvaney and reflect on Lou’s legacy that stretched far beyond the playing field.

The special tribute will reminisce on his stellar playing career and central role as football’s first personality. We go down memory lane to enjoy Lou’s best moments and humour on iconic programs such as World of Sport and League Teams that saw him bring football to the fans as entertainment.

    1. Agreed. With 3 channels at their disposal you’d think they could find a spot for it, even late night and we can record it to view later.
      Come on DK, get on to Channel 7 and put some pressure on. Old Lou was a legend, State funeral even being talked about.

  1. And where are the details for Queensland viewers?
    Don’t tell me Channel 7 has decided we don’t want to watch it.
    For heaven’s sake, the population of Queensland is made up mainly of ex Victorians. And Lou was a colossal legend. His old commentating mate Peter Landy now lives at Noosa, I’d think he would want to see it.
    Poor form Seven.
