A casting call has gone out for The Stylist, an ITV Studios-produced program that centres around hair stylists.

The series is on the hunt for Aussie stylists, who can be nominated by clients or stylists themselves.

‘Do you have Australia’s most interesting and laughter filled conversations with your clients and colleagues?’ an audition notice asks.

‘Do your clients feel like they’re visiting an old friend when they come to your salon? Do you love a good gossip and like to voice your opinion about anything and everything that’s happening in the world? ‘

No network has yet been announced for the production.

Applicants must be Australian citizen or Permanent Resident aged 18 or over.

Applications close on June 30.

  1. Can’t wait. Hairdressers need for community credit and recognition. I think the public will be surprised with the intelligent and emotional conversations had within salon walls.
