Nicole & Ewan on Fargo, Big Little Lies & Moulin Rouge

Actors on Actors: Variety has posted a video chat with Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies) and Ewan McGregor (Fargo) discussing the difference between TV and film, and memories about shooting Moulin Rouge 16 years ago.

It includes Nicole discussing why Big Little Lies was set in the US, not Sydney, which she attributes to HBO wanting global appeal and a cheaper option…. think that refers to the cost of having US stars.

“You never know” she says about a second season, but there are “no prospects right now.”
