I am a sucker for engineering shows, but it is a pity one episode is on the ugliest bridge in history— the Forth Rail Bridge.
It’s not that bad from a distance now that it’s been painted. Kurilpa Bridge in Brisbane is uglier – at any distance.
OK at first glance the Kurilpa Bridge is laughably hideous, but I’ve seen the world famous Forth Bridge hundreds of times, and it is still butt ugly (without the slightest humour), as our American friends like to say.
