TV Tonight acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waterways on which we live, work and play and pays respect to Elders past and present.

TV Tonight launched in 2007 and is now the “go-to” television news site for both industry and public alike.

The site is the personal blog of Commentator, David Knox, spanning TV news, ratings, Free to Air programming, Subscription TV / Streaming, reviews and more.

David talks to execs, stars, publicists and programmers on a daily basis to keep you up to date with the Australian television landscape.

The site has published over 75,000 posts including interviews with a who’s who of stars, both Australian and international, and broken numerous industry exclusives. In 2012 TV Tonight was voted winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Australian Blog Awards.

David writes with insight into the industry, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Screenwriting from RMIT and an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts from the WA Academy of Performing Arts. He was also the founding Artistic Director of ScreenPlay at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and has served on the board of the Australian Screenwriters Conference. His reviews and commentary have appeared in numerous platforms including The Age, The Sunday Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, Herald Sun, The Australian, Daily Telegraph, Television Business International, Mediaweek, Radio National, 3AW, Nova, ABC Perth, SBS, tv.com, and Screen Hub.
