“Save Me Before I am Born and Farting.”
The medical doco series has two stories – one on lifesaving surgery for babies while they are still in the womb, and another that promises “everything you wanted to know about farting.” Truly.
The two combined create a very memorable title….

Returning: The Mentalist, Cold Case, Kitchen Nightmares
UPDATED: Nine has revealed details of its schedule next week, the final week of non-ratings, which includes the return of The Mentalist in new episodes.
Episode 8 “Thin Red Line” screens at 8:30pm Wednesday February 4th followed by Flashpoint’s 7th episode “He Knows His Brother.”
New Cold Case episodes move to “new night, new time” at 10:30pm with “Wednesday’s Women.”
What that means for ER, starting its 14th season at 10:30pm tomorrow night, is extremely unclear. It won’t be in the same slot next week. Madness.

Bumped: The Strip, This is your Life, Amazing Medical Stories
Channel Nine has pushed back its local drama The Strip to 10:30pm from this Thursday night.
Last week the show had 834,000 viewers, beaten by Law and Order: CI’s 1.21m and The Amazing Race on 1.01m.
It will be replaced by This is your Life on Nov 13 and 20. The Mike Munro show had been set for a 6:30pm Sunday return. Instead a 20 to 1 repeat will air this weekend.
Amazing Medical Stories which was airing at 10:30pm Thursdays is currently out of schedule.

Airdate: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
As expected, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, the critically acclaimed series from writer Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing) is finally going to be aired by Channel Nine, but only on 9HD.
The short-lived drama starring Matthew Perry will air from 10:30pm Thursday October 9th.

Returning: RPA, Amazing Medical Stories
As previously indicated, RPA returns to Channel Nine next month.
The medico series narrated by Max Cullen is back from 9:30pm Thursday October 2nd.
In the first episode a seven and a half month old has a disorder that effects her bile duct and her only hope of survival is a new liver. Also a 41 year-old postman suffers uncontrollable epilepsy since a push bike accident as a child put him in a coma for three months. He turns to RPA for the hope of leading a normal life.
