Gone: Christine, CSI: NY, Returning: Kitchen Nightmares, Commercial Breakdown

Nine has responded, as we knew they all would, to it’s under-performing Tuesday night line up which this week saw its share dip to just 18.9%.

But its replacement programmes don’t look much better.

This week the line-up was:

7:30 Two and a Half Men rpt
8:00 The New Adventures of Old Christine
8:30 20 to 1
9:30 CSI: New York

Next Tuesday it now plans:

7:30 20 to 1

It’s finally happened.

Channel Nine plans to fill an (entire) prime time evening with its 3 staple shows: Two and a Half Men, Underbelly and 20 to 1.

Nine has just dumped AFHV World’s Funniest Videos and Commercial Breakdown, clip-show ideas that haven’t worked in other versions, and replaced them with Bert Newton hosting 20 to 1 next Tuesday.

That means aligned up with it’s other scheduling, Two and a Half Men and repeats of Underbelly’s first season, the network has effectively pooled wall to wall programming of 3 recycled brands from 7pm to …

Nine’s Easter programming

In keeping with previous posts about programming plans for the Easter non-ratings period, here are the Nine shows you can expect to see in the week of April 5:

Continuing new episodes: 60 Minutes, A Current Affair, Customs, Footy Classified (select markets), World’s Funniest Videos, Commercial Breakdown, Hell’s Kitchen, Bridezillas, What’s Good For You, RPA, The Footy Show, Getaway, Adults Only 20 to 1, The King of Queens, Til’ Death, NRL, Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, Tropfest 2009.

Repeat episodes: Two and a Half Men, Underbelly, Cold Case, 20 to 1.

Returning: RPA, What’s Good For You, Hell’s Kitchen, Commercial Breakdown

Nine has announced a number of new shows returning in Easter non-ratings:

Commercial Breakdown hosted by MTV host Darren McMullen is back at 8pm from Tuesday April 7th. It will follow the premiere of World’s Funniest Videos hosted by Shane Crawford and Lyndsey Rodrigues at 7:30pm. The show was last hosted for Nine by Dermott Brereton.

Two and a Half Men continues in new eps at 8:30pm.

At 9:30pm Hell’s Kitchen returns in Series 2 from 2006.

On Wednesday April 8th a renewed What’s Good For You is back at 7:30pm. Dr Andrew Rochford …

Airdate: World’s Funniest Videos

Shane Crawford and Lyndsey Rodrigues will host a new clip show for the Nine Network.

The 30 minute show will premiere at 7:30pm Tuesday April 7th and is followed by a commercials clip show Commercial Breakdown.

Rodrigues is also appearing on What’s Good For You which returns at 7:30pm on the following night, Wednesday April 7.
