Sarah Wilson was Presenter on the highest rating show in 2009 -but it wasn’t enough to land her on the shortlist for 2010 Logie Nominations.

The Masterchef host is now out of the race for Best Presenter and Gold Logie before the race even begins. But she is in good company.

Yesterday’s list of possible contenders published by TV Week again utilised a voting system it has employed in recent years: an individual numerical code for each actor, actress and presenter as a way of facilitating the results. It contrasts with a historical …

Over 1000 surveys were completed this year, and there were some definite trends. Some choices were clear decisions, others were tight races.

Several “winners” were also “losers” elsewhere, showing a divided audience, and a number of populist shows proved their mettle by staying ahead of underdogs.

Shaun Micallef won both Favourite Male and Most Underrated Performer, while Talkin’ ‘Bout Your …

“It’s good to be here,” said Gretel. “I have never personally won a television award.” Except for running second in a poll of TV’s most annoying host, she joked.

A gold year for Rebecca

At age 44 ‘Julie Rafter’ faces a number of health challenges that were laid out to her by a doctor, some of which could be life-threatening.

Less seriously, actress Rebecca Gibney, also 44, could be facing a challenge of her own, when the TV Week Logie nominations are announced next week.
