Attention King of the Hill fans….
Plans for the show to return to return to 7TWO are now out, as the show switches to Seven.
It was originally returning at 11:45pm on Friday March 12 on Seven, now replaced by a movie.
Now it will air 12midday Saturday March 13.

Returning: King of the Hill
If you have been wondering where King of the Hill went on 7TWO it is back next month, but in a low-level timeslot.
The show returns 11:45pm Friday March 11, replacing the repeats of Australia’s Greatest Athlete.
It returns with “Trans-Fascism” S12 E11.
When the City Council bans the sale of foods containing trans fats, Hank’s favorite restaurant goes out of business.
Bumped: King of the Hill
More changes at 7TWO will see King of the Hill shift from its planned return on Thursday January 28 to an earlier time of 7:30pm Sunday January 24.
It looks set to air two episodes each Sunday night beginning with “The Powder Puff Boys.”
The move pits the show against Wipeout on GO!
7TWO is also offering replays of key finale episodes of its biggest dramas before they return soon.

Bumped: Jay Leno Show. Airdate: Benidorm
A number of changes will be coming to 7TWO in January including The Jay Leno Show moving from 6pm to midday from Monday January 18, it will be replaced with reruns of Alf and Full House at 6 / 6:30pm.
Leno will be preceded by HeadLand at 11am and followed by US soap All My Children at 1pm. PG programmes are allowed in daytimes on digital channels from January 1st due to recent ACMA changes.

Vale: Brittany Murphy
US actress Brittany Murphy, best known for her film roles in Clueless and 8 Mile has died of an apparent heart attack in Los Angeles, aged 32.
Murphy, starred in several movies, including Just Married, Don’t Say a Word and Riding in Cars with Boys, but her best known television role was voicing the animated character Luanne on King of the Hill. She also did voice work for Futurama and the Australian animated film Happy Feet.

Kathy Najimy to guest on Desperate Housewives

Kathy Najimy will guest star in an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives as a police officer with a connection to Susan Meyer (Teri Hatcher).
To say much more would be a bit of a spoiler.
Najimy’s biggest role on television has of course been King of the Hill as Peggy while her other appearances have been on Numb3rs, That’s So Raven and If These Walls Could Talk.

The cancelled list
As the US Fall Season nears it’s time to take stock of the shows in the US that are not moving forward (including two Aussie adaptations).
Whilst many of us are up to speed on most of these, sometimes one or two escape out attention, and others kinda never get cancelled but remain in permanent hiatus.

King of the Hill exits in September
King of the Hill will end its 13 season run in the US with an hour long finale on September 13th.
It follows confirmation last October that the show would come to an end this year.
In the series finale episode, “The Boy Can’t Help It” / “The Honeymooners,” the Hills’ teenage son Bobby (Pamela Adlon) is being teased by girls in his class who pretend to be interested in inviting him as a date for the Homecoming dance.

Gone: King of the Hill
Seven has dropped King of the Hill from its Thursday night schedule effective immediately. Ok technically it was screening 12 am Fridays.
It has been replaced with repeats of Room for Improvement from next week.
TV Tonight understands it will make a return, but on another Seven channel. Hmmmmmmmm…..
Also from the week of July 12th, Family Guy and American Dad will screen both Wednesday and Thursday nights, although Family Guy will be a repeat on Thursday July 16.
Nine scores the week
Week 23 saw all the biffo on Wednesday night. The State of Origin hit a high of 2.28m viewers -a record for the event since OzTAM ratings commenced. It helped Nine win just its third week of ratings over Seven. It was also the same night that The Chaser’s War on Everything offended large portions of the viewing audience with its now-notorious sketch.
Nine won the week with 27.1% over Seven’s 26.4% and TEN’s 24.5%. The ABC had 17.1% and SBS 4.8%.

Returning: King of the Hill
Seven returns King of the Hill to screen in two weeks time, airing 12am Friday May 15 (Thursday night May 14) in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, 11:30pm Thursday in Sydney and Brisbane.
It’s back with “Grand Theft Arlen” S11 E8 from April 2007.
Seven had planned a new series of Beauty & The Geek for Thursday nights, but that appears to be shelved. The current series concludes next week at 12am Friday.
