Hawko sticks with Seven

Jennifer Hawkins will renew her contract with the Seven Network, according to her management, even though there is no specific project in the pipeline. She is believed to have taken a cut in her salary, rumoured to be between $700,000 to $1 million.

“The network wanted to re-sign her and she wants to keep the association with the network,” Sean Anderson told news.com.au yesterday.

Cybershack host severs finger

While filming a segment for Nine’s Cybershack series on Tuesday model Erin McNaught partially severed a finger during a motorcycle accident.

An electronic dirt bike accelerated out under her causing her hand to become trapped in a wheel.

She was rushed to Royal North Shore hospital where she had three hours of surgery yesterday to reattach the finger.

Last night she was recovering in hospital.

Finch on the menu

Can’t you just feel the tap slowly dripping on the names for Celebrity MasterChef? A little bit here, a little press there.

Today another four names are out of the bag.

They are Miss Universe Australia contestant Rachael Finch, AFL player Ryan O’Keefe, singer Alex Lloyd and actor Steve Bisley.

Finch had previously told media “I’m not going to do MasterChef because I’m not prepared.”

The four names follow yesterday’s naming of Peter Rowsthorn, cricketer Simon Katich and Video Hits host Faustina ‘Fuzzy’ Agolley.

Airdate: Miss Universe 2009

Miss Australia, Rachael Finch, will try her luck at this year’s Miss Universe in the Bahamas later this month.

As always, this event will see some 80 countries represented by a bevvy of beauties in the categories of evening gown, interview and of course swimsuit.

Entertainment this year includes Flo Rida, David Guetta, Kelly Rowland, and Heidi Montag.

To be held at the Imperial Ballroom, in the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, it will screen on Seven at 10:30pm Monday August 24th, with a replay at 12pm the next day.

Dance: It’s Charlie, Ben, Amy and Talia.

Natalie’s face said it all -and she actually gets to stay on the show.

Last night BJ and Kat left So You Think You Can Dance Australia, leaving Charlie, Ben, Talia and Amy as the final four.

The four will compete on Sunday April 19th for the chance to win the title “Australia’s Favourite Dancer.” Wonder if they can get Jack Chambers to hand over the title symbolically a la Miss Universe? After all he won’t be our ‘favourite’ anymore, right?
