With 2.07m viewers for the NRL Grand Final it’s game on in TV land for this week’s ratings crown.
Last night the network attracted a 33.2% share over rival Seven’s 25.2%. Nine hasn’t won a ratings week since July.
Just the second hour of the match factored into Nine’s primetime share, only in Sydney and Melbourne. Time delays in Queensland, and South Australia meant a slim 30 minutes made it into primetime, and none in Western Australia. At least it gave Nine’s other shows a healthy lead-in.

TEN on tenterhooks
It’s been an awful week for TEN, Taken Out, 90210 and Bondi Rescue: Bali were all erased within seven days of each other.
As of Friday TEN has only had three shows above the 1m mark -and one of those was a repeat.
On two nights this week TEN finished behind the ABC, with two more results yet to be handed down. As it tries to save face from a week of crushing blows, TEN is in danger of ending the week behind the ABC.

Aussie Simon Baker stars as an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes by using his razor sharp skills of observation, a concept not so dissimilar to Psych. He is joined by Robin Tunney from Prison Break. It is created by Bruno Heller who co-created Rome.
