The Nat Geo Wild channel is one of the new Pay TV channels to join later this month, and one of its feature titles is Orca Killing School, a documentary on the killer whales of Argentina.

In a brutal battle of nature, these amazing creatures cheat death to snatch sea lions from shallow waters.

Like the previous Australian documentary Wolves of the Sea, this is a fascinating look at the cycle of life and death.

Nat Geo Wild will offer intimate encounters with wildlife, filmed by scientists and documentary filmmakers.

Nat Geo gets Wild in November

Another of the new channels to launch on November 15th is Nat Geo Wild, with docos on Earth’s many environments and the creatures that inhabit them.

It will add to the other Nat Geo channels already on offer – National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Channel HD and Nat Geo Adventure.

Promising ‘intimate encounters with wildlife, forbidding ocean depths, remote mountain peaks, sweeping plains and deep jungles’ the channel will feature experts and scientists including resident herpetologist Dr Brady Barr, filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert and aquatic ecologist Zeb Hogan.
