America’s porn industry, apparently, has been hit by the global financial crisis and the internet combined. But that hasn’t stopped a growing wave of parody porn skinflicks built around old television shows.
One of them, Not The Bradys XXX has proven so popular it is attracting US press, including in Newsweek.
The Brady Bunch porn-alike is one of several made by Jeff Mullen, who writes and directs under the name Will Ryder. He’s also turned out Not the Cosbys and Not Three’s Company. Hustler films is also planning to take on Saved by …

The Bradys pipped The Simpsons according to last night’s 20 to 1 list of TV’s top families.
Of course, like most of the lists it’s not ranked on much more than the popular choices of producers, researchers and guests (and any answers that can’t be supported by accessible footage are very likely ditched).

Looks like ‘Jan,’ or more particularly Eve Plumb, is determined to stay the black sheep of The Brady Bunch clan.
She is the sole Brady kid to decline a reunion invitation from The Oprah Winfrey Show -at least according to her big sis ‘Marcia’ (Maureen McCormick).

Actor Jake Abel (Threshold) is to play a third brother in Supernatural.

Big screen Gilligan?
Arrested Development’s ‘George Michael’ as a big screen Gilligan?
It’s an idea being pursued by creator Sherwood Schwartz (The Brady Bunch) and his son Lloyd Schwartz. Certainly the Brady franchise was enormously popular for Schwartz and Paramount on the big screen, thanks to the irreverent tone set by a stage production that had become a cult hit.

Thanks for your support this year and I hope the day brings everything you want (even if we don’t get The Panel Xmas Wrap).
I think it was probably The Brady Bunch who first dubbed one of their telemovies A Very Brady Christmas, now it’s such a widely adapted phrase to depict any special that’s bursting its festive seams, and very possibly bordering on camp too.

Another Brady, another book, but we are still fascinated by the “perfect American family” telling us life in The Brady Bunch wasn’t always so sweet.
