Move over SBS, ONE has a new weekly football show coming, set to feature Socceroos, A-League and world football.

World Football News will air at 10pm on the eastern seaboard from Monday February 8th on ONE.

Former SKY Sports News and BBC journalist Chris Bailey will host the one-hour panel show, covering games and news on matches around the world.

It will feature interviews with key players, coaches and members of the world football community.

“All the leagues will come under the spotlight, depending on what is the major news of the week,” TEN program …

Airdate: Australian Masters Golf

Nine’s broadcast of the Australian Masters Golf from Kingston Heath in Melbourne will begin at 12:30pm Thursday November 12th. The event will feature Tiger Woods.

It will air for 5 hours in the afternoon and continues Friday & Saturday with a Final Round on Sunday November 15th.

Earlier this year it was feared the event featuring Tiger Woods might not be seen on Free to Air television after networks deemed a $3m price tag as being too expensive.

But Nine signed a joint deal with FOX Sports which will also screen it.

For golfing enthusiasts ONE has a new one hour weekly show premiering later this month.

The Pro Shop will seek to cover all aspects of the game for golfers of all levels. It will be hosted by Andrew Maher (pictured) and Grant Dodd who will be joined by special guests and tour professionals.

Maher has been working on TEN’s AFL coverage since 2002 on Before The Game and The 5th Quarter.

It premieres 8:30pm Tuesday October 27th on ONE.
