David Tennant picked up the Best Male Actor and Doctor Who scored Best Drama at Britain’s National Television Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall this week.
Who beat out tough competition from Life on Mars, Shameless and The Bill.
Other winners of shows popular in Australia included Catherine Tate and Top Gear.

Ha ha ha! I bet all those “too cool for schoolers” who said Doctor Who was a show for geeks are eating their proverbial hats now – awards, high ratings, iconic status – and David Tennant!
David Tennant also does an hour long interview with Kylie Minogue later this month on BBC2 Radio!

I love new Doctor Who and I love David Tennant … the best Doctor since Tom Baker (and more sane too) ! We are soooooooo lucky to have it back and under the care of Russell T Davis … an amazingly talented Queen! Did you know he is working on a new Gay drama also???
