‘Encores’ (better known by their true title: ‘Repeats’) have been scheduled by Nine for Ladette to Lady and Power of Ten. Networks traditionally draw upon these stunts when shows don’t perform as well as expected.

The UK reality series which last night scored 971,000 will be repeated on Saturday evening at 10:55pm. The figure was actually competitive with Nine’s commercial rivals.

Power of Ten which limped in with 704,000 on Monday will be repeated Sunday arvo at 3pm in Sydney and Brisbane and 4:30pm in Melbourne. But it means Gilmore Girls (pictured) will not screen this weekend.

Nine will be looking to see if the show goes up next week after a disappointing premiere.

    Here in QLD we are finally getting new eps, that aired over 800 days ago in the US and I have no idea how long they will be staying on. The longest delay was in S5 when a couple of eps hit 901 days, thats 2.5 years old!

    Damn you Nine, I’m SO over you, your an old dried up used up bag which needs to be taken out back and shot!

    When new shows on Nine don’t perform as well as expected ..consistently, thats a large neon sign saying “Doing something wrong!!” pointing at your network!

    Do you ever achieve better results by stopping, starting, changing time slots, moving time slots? Honestly?

    I feel you screw up more and more each week.. and now your taking Gilmore Girls away already?

    I’m very seriously, in total honesty considering simply deleting Nine and Nine HD from my viewable channels.. If you show something I want to see, I’ll just buy it on DVD later, and if your able to profit from those DVD sales, I’ll buy them from overseas instead! I’d rather buy shows on DVD than have it take 6-12 months to see a whole season on TV, or have to miss episodes due to constant rescheduling.

    Where is internet TV, iTunes, hello? anyone? I think many of us are getting sick of these traditional methods of viewing!? Save us!

  3. Im am so sick of Gilmore Girls getting messed around with!

    Season six it turing out to be their best. This show is not what evryone thinks it is. It is mindblowing what this show achives, and only because of the stigma atched to this show, has it been held back.

    Stop treating this show like Crap WIN. Im so gladd u put it on, but eaither take it off completely or run the episodes weekly. dont make us loose momentum for frakking encores!
