This is Daniel Goddard, born in Sydney in 1971, who appeared in Home and Away and Beastmaster in the mid-late nineties.
These days Goddard plays Ethan ‘Cane’ Ashby in The Young and the Restless. Goddard is one of a number of Aussie actors who has made it on US or UK television. Julian McMahon, Jesse Spencer, Anthony LaPaglia, Rose Byrne are but a few in such esteemed company.
There are now so many that it’s high time they were all assembled and acknowledged. In no particular order are some of the more contemporary TV stars (no Bud Tingwells or Jack Thompsons here, sorry) with one of their overseas credits.

Err, David, you’ve labelled a picture of Claudia Black as Vala Mal Doran from Stargate SG-1 as being Jenni Baird from the 4400.
Not being nitpicky, just highlighting a mistake, if that’s alright?
RomanaTyler.
david, the photo for claudia black has the wrong name underneath, it says - Jenni Baird, The 4400
Great list, but the pic for Jenni Baird, The 4400, is of Claudia Black.
Claudia Black’s picture (Vala in Stargate and Aeryn in Farscape) has Jenni Baird’s name under it. Or, Jenni Baird’s name has Claudia Black’s picture!! Claudia’s Australian and I like her better anyway, so Bonus!!!!!!
That is Claudia Black (Stargate SG1) not Jenni Baird..
Its claudia black from Stargate Sg-1 not jenna baird from 4400
sorry not Jenni Baird, The 4400.
its Claudia Black(huge insult to stargate fans)
also might want to add

Adam, IMDb only lists Spellbinder for Nina Lui, shot in Oz. Any tips?
