Rumour: co-stars’ love games

Dating celebrities are usually the domain of gossip mags and are really only news when they have the potential to ricochet onto a show. Dating co-stars is one such case.

According to newspaper reports, Aaron Jeffery is apparently “wooing his latest leading lady Vanessa Gray.”

Production insiders have confirmed the on-screen chemistry. “They are trying to keep it secret but everyone knows they are on,” a ‘TV spy’ said yesterday.

Reporters at the wrap party last night confirmed their sexual tension.

Gray’s character partners up with Jeffery’s, who flees to The Strip after his on-screen marriage crumbles. The pair met during the audition process and began working together when the series started filming in May.

Off camera, Jeffery’s own romantic life has other female co-stars, including McLeod’s star Michelle Langstone and La Femme Nikita’s Peta Wilson plus copping a good behaviour bond for pleading guilty to assaulting his wife in 2006.
