Returning: The Loop

By David Knox on October 8, 2008 / Filed Under Programming 10

FOX sitcom The Loop returns to Seven tomorrow night (ok technically Friday morning) when it airs at 12midnight.

“Yeah Presents” picks up from where the sitcom last stopped, and is one of eight remaining episodes in the series.

The Loop follows Sam Sullivan (Bret Harrison), the youngest executive at the corporate headquarters of a major airline, TransAlliance Airways.

In the episode which aired in June last year in the US, “A scramble to find the perfect gift ensues as Russ’ birthday approaches. Sam discovers Russ once owned an exotic bird, so he sets out to track one down.”

The comedy didn’t survive beyond two seasons.

It’s a good time slot for a show that requires you to be half asleep to get some entertainment out of it…

As a self-confessed TV addict, I’d normally watch a bit of everyhting.

I chose to read a book instead of watching The Loop.

    ‘Nuff said.

They definitely showed ‘Yeah, Presents’ in Victoria.

And what the hell is with you people? This show is ranges from decent to middling but by no means awful. Get taste!

In Sydney, Seven showed the episode titled ‘Stride’. Was this different in other cities?

Haven’t seen it but worst sitcom ever surely belongs to either the sublimely bad Cavemen or the recent 10 offering Life On A Stick.

    A fairly poor comedy.
    Just like Till death –

Pleasing it’s finally returned. It’s not exactly life changing, but it’s sure a lot better than almost every other sitcom on Aussie TV currently, Friends, 2.5 Men, Til Death and Cavemen in particular.

No!!!! This is quite possibly the worst show ever. Its unfunny and painful to watch, like psychological torture.
