Next month ABC screens the first of its slightly twisted period series Lost in Austen.

Jemima Rooper (Sinchronicity, Hex, As If) plays a young woman who finds herself swept away to the land of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

It also features Hollywood actress Alex Kingston (ER; Croupier; Moll Flanders), Hugh Bonneville (Notting Hill; Iris), Lindsay Duncan (Rome; Longford) and new Bond girl Gemma Arterton (St. Trinians; Quantum Of Solace).

Originally filmed in four parts, ABC will screen this in double doses at 8:30pm Sunday March 8 and 15 on ABC1.
