SBS executive appointment

sbs-brand5SBS has appointed Anna Miralis as its new Senior Acquisitions Executive for television and online content.

Miralis was previously SBS Commissioning Editor, Documentary and commissioned projects such as Cracking the Colour Code, Liberal Rule and Taxi School.

She will be responsible for acquiring completed content for all genres with a special focus on larger international factual deals, early evening entertainment and international comedy and drama.

“Anna has extensive experience in commissioning and acquiring content, including a long history with SBS,” Network Programmer Jane Roscoe said.

Miralis added: “I’m excited by the challenge of acquiring high quality content for SBS audiences.

“My focus will be on delivering distinctive content across all our platforms.”

    well more online content is always better, i dont watch much on sbs, top gear and south park sometimes, but i wish they would put some docs on the web, like the cutting edge becauses i only get to watch like 1 or 2 a year if that, because i dont watch sbs that often so i dont know whats on or i just forget about changing the channel to see what docs they are on.
