SC 10 says mid year for regional areas. Please check stories in News posts.
Can you give us a date when One HD will be rolling into the Kiama (south of Wollongong) area since it’s up & rolling in the major cities of oz?
mrb, in some cases its a legal thing. Anything on the anti-cyphening list has to be shown on the main channel at the same time, or earlier, than on digital only at this stage. Hopefully this will eventually change, and things can be shown on One before Ten. For example, if the law is changed, the AFL in the NSW and Qld markets could be shown live on One and continue its delayed coverage on Ten. Or one game could be on One and another on Ten. Neither can happen at the moment.
Plus, those of us outside the major 5 (and those without digital) can’t receive anything that is One only.
It’s now 7:05 pm in East Gippsland and I can’t find any-one (excuse my pun).
@mrb – ch10 can’t move all sport to ONE HD because there would be a national outcry! Not only from those who have not made the switch to digital but also from those of use who won’t be getting the new channel until ‘mid year’ when ever that is!
mrb – I believe until OneHD is rolled out to regional networks, some sports will be broadcasting on both One and Ten.
I’m still perplexed at the decision not to show Richmond V Carlton tonight in Brisbane/Sydney…Who watches swimming unless its the Olympics?
And here’s hoping it’s a very short chapter.
…and in July for the rest of Australia.
I looked at the guide for the weekend and I don’t see the point of this channel one. the F1 is going to be shown on one HD & SD plus normal 10. Whats the point in that. I was hoping the sport would to moved over to ONE so TEN could run non sport programming.
Same with AFL, I am guessing its a contract thing, why bother showing the AFL starting at 7pm on ONE and 8pm on Ten.
